Ski club activity has the main role to develop the tourism in Valsavarenche in winter season. This association has been found by Emilio Blanc more than fifty years ago and today is presided by the very active grand-daughter Miriam Ferrando.

During this period Ski club led on the podium many champions and made Valsavarenche the sweet touristic resort that it is.

The main activity is the training organization for the members, supporting them during the race period. Ski club organizes courses, open to tourists too, if they want to take advantage from a mountain trip to learn skiing. In fact, there are three cross-country ski teachers: Daniela Degioz, Josianne Degioz and Guido Favre. Another activity beloved even by tourists is the organization of a lot of many kind of races, even international and important competition as the biyearly Tour du Grand Paradis – Trofeo Renato Chabod, next one will be on April 2010, and of course happy and crazy races for companies and groups.

In Valsavarenche there is the famous 5km. long Pont cross-country ski run and it is approved for important competitions.
